Information about the event in Alicante just before the 2017 Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofia Iberostar and after the XII Andalusian Olympic Week Bay of Cadiz.

The organiser have a special agreements with Transmediterránea to transport the cars and boards from the península to the Mallorca island.

The 33^rd edition of the Delta Lloyd Regatta will be held from 23 – 27 May 2017 in Medemblik, the Netherlands. All Olympic classes, as well as the 2.4 MR will have the opportunity to participate in our event. After the Rio Olympic Games 2016 we are looking into new ways of developing the sport of sailing formats, to offer the highest quality to world class sailors. Important for the Italian sailors!

FIV Prescriptions 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11 will apply. All the Italian competitors shall be FIV members and have a valid medical certificate. Italian competitors who are under 12 years of age at the start of the Event are not eligible to compete.

The International RS:X Class Executive Committee decided to ban the RS:X Mark 3 (black) fins also for the 2017 RS:X Windsurfing World Championships, held from 16 – 23 September, in Enoshima, Japan, due to the further production delays by manufacturer.

The amended Notice of Race (NoR) for the 2017 RS:X Windsurfing World Championships is published.

Please see attached a new version of the Notice or Race / Sailing Instructions for the 2018 World Cup Series. You can find the document on the following linkhttp://www.worldsailingywc.org/tools/documents/2018WCSNORSIs12Jan18-[22673].pdf

The changes from the previous version are as follows:

1. Changes to reflect Council’s decision on the number of medal races for Nacra 17, 49er and 49er FX (one medal race only). Basically we have changed “medal series” to “medal race” throughout the document and now the ties for these classes in the medal race are broken in the same way than the others.
2. For RSX, Restriction to use the Mark 3 fin.
3. For Finn, class rules change to allow the race committee to use Oscar with 8 knots. The Finn class is testing this option and will make a final decision in March.
