2021 SOF Regatta is CANCELLED! The Class is working for an alternative venue for RS:X Worlds!

It was anounced today that the 2021 SOF Regatta in Hyeres, France is CANCELLED!

The ‘Delegation Interministerielle des Grands Evenement Sportif’ has decided that the SOF 2021 cannot take place as planned. Considering the COVID situation in the South of France, the organizer of the event did not get the permission from health authorities and there was no other choice than to cancel the event.

This means also that 2021 RS:X World Championships WILL NOT take place in Hyeres, France anymore.

The Class is working now to find an alternative venue still to hold the 2021 RS:X Windsurfing World Championships.
