The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is one of the best jazz festivals in the world. After a long and warm summer, it’s the opportunity for tens of thousands of music lovers to put on an extra layer, take out the lawn blankets, and enjoy great music in one of the most beautiful natural settings this side of Montreux!
This year is extra special because the festival celebrates its 35th anniversary, and the lineup is nothing short of spectacular: headliners include Earth, Wind & Fire, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Spyro Gyra, Dr. John & The Nite Trippers, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros!
We’re excited to announce that on the opening weekend of the 2014 RS:X Youth Worlds, all registered competitors and coaches will have access to the festival free of charge! We’ll even provide shuttle service to and from the festival grounds in downtown Clearwater, barely three miles away from the event site.
Everyone will have plenty to do on the opening weekend at the event site: finalizing registration, doing equipment measurement, running final practices, and of course attending the opening ceremonies on the beach! But a little jazz in the evening will surely help soothe the nerves and charge your batteries for the week ahead!
A big thank you to our friends at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday. More details about the festival here: clearwaterjazz.com
