Travel & Transportation
MEL – Melbourne Airport is the best to fly into
Sky-Bus Runs to Mornington on a regular basis – Prior to the event we will be able to do pick ups from there to the club
We have organised an Airport Transfer service with a local driver.
The vehicle (with board trailer) can pick up 4 people and their boards and sails and costs $295 per standard trip. It will be operating from December when our first athletes join us for their training camps. – contact the driver direct for details.

Regatta Pickups – We are planning to do some pick ups from the Airport and transfer to the Club in our club bus – We’re working on the details, but it will be a good option for lots of people who come in at the same time. (The bus can take 11 passengers)
We are will also work on a plan to get you back to the Airport after the regatta using Buses and Trailers. We will need you to tell us your plans so we can organise it – Most likely this will be booking busses and trailers once everyone has booked their airline tickets.

Free Container Storage
We have teamed up with the Wooden Boat Shop for Free Container Storage. They have a full yard and boat service to make launching Support Boats from there easy. The Wooden Boat Shop did a great job for the 49er / 29er Worlds and the Moth Worlds. Some of the international teams may have met 49er sailors Sam and Will Phillips who work there.
